Milan Milenkovich believes that music is one of the most primal forces in the universe with the ability to touch souls and inspire unity. Milan is a tenacious performer, having played at various venues across Southern California including the famous House of Blues Anaheim, the Orange County Fair, Anaheim Stadium, Dipiazzas, Surf Dogs, and backyard shows.  Known for his energetic stage presence and improvisational guitar solos. Milan has played in multiple bands covering a wide range of genres like rockabilly, psychobilly, hard rock, heavy metal, and pop.  As a soloist, Milan has also played café shows, as well as weddings, playing fingerstyle acoustic guitar.  His styles as a soloist blend the nuances of fingerstyle guitar with the heavy rhythms of 80s hits like Everybody Wants to Rule the World (Tears for Fears) and Sledgehammer (Peter Gabriel).

Throughout his career, Milan has sought to use his skills as an artist to effect positive change in his community.  He composed a score for the film Carla’s Christmas Date for the non-profit organization Carla’s Movie Restaurant as well as performed for many of their pop-up events.  After graduating high school Milan was brought on as a guitar instructor to teach for the very same guitar class he graduated from at Huntington Beach High School.  There he developed an unprecedented level of patience and professionalism working with high school students of various levels of musical proficiency.  Having gained a love for teaching and spreading his knowledge, he immediately jumped back into teaching after his move to Oregon in 2021, where he continues teaching at Guitar Center.

An avid learner, Milan has taken multiple music-related college classes in Southern California and Portland, Oregon.  Milan has played with a number of ensembles over the years, performing a range of repertoire including jazz standards, like All of Me and Autumn Leaves, as well as rock hits like Mississippi Queen and Black Betty.  He also developed skills as a recording engineer and has had the opportunity to record many of the ensembles at his college including the symphony, the chamber singers, and the classical guitar ensembles.  Currently, Milan is at Portland State University completing a BS degree in their Sonic Arts And Music Production program to further his skills as an audio engineer and music producer.

In his free time, Milan has been working on multiple projects to continue to evolve his personal style.  He has been collaborating with his creative partner to create a three-song demo combining the chaos of thrash metal and punk with the precision of progressive rock, and the trippy tones of psychedelic rock.  As a personal project, Milan has been using his newly acquired midi skills to create his own style of synth-wave, blending Blade Runner-style synths and compressed drums with Pink Floyd-like guitar playing to achieve a distinct futuristic sound.
